What is a mini split?

There is nothing like walking in your front door and feeling the comfort of the perfect temperature. Mini splits are air conditioner units that do not required ducting. This increases efficiency because cooling air can be lost as it travels through the ducts. Most are installed in a single room or area. They are energy efficient systems that are made up of two basic components, the outdoor compressor unit and the indoor blower head unit. Most mini splits are “heat pumps” which allows the unit to heat in addition to providing cooling air. Considering the less complex design, mini splits can also be cheaper to install.
